UK records 4,419 coronavirus deaths in single day! April 29, 2020

According to the latest breaking news; It was announced that the total number of people who lost their lives in hospitals and nursing homes in England due to covid-19 was 26 thousand 97.

The total number of people who died in the UK due to the new type of corona virus (covid-19) rose to 26 thousand 97 with the addition of deaths in nursing homes.

At a daily press conference, Foreign Minister Dominic Raab reported that the loss of life in the country from Kovid-19 increased from 26 March to 28 thousand, with the addition of 3,811 people who died outside the hospital between 2 March and 28 April, and 765 deaths in the last 24 hours.




Raab noted that non-hospital deaths will be included in the daily deaths announced starting today.

According to the information given by Raab, the total number of tests in the country increased to 818 thousand 539 with 52 thousand 429 tests performed in the last 24 hours, while the number of positive cases increased by 4 thousand 76 to 165 thousand 221.

The British government had promised to increase the number of daily tests to 100,000 by the end of April.

It was the target of criticism because the government did not disclose the number of people who lost their lives in nursing homes in England. There were 4,516 nursing homes Kovid-19 outbreaks across the country, but no official issue has been reported to date about deaths in the nursing home. The prefabricated morgues built in the country near some nursing homes attracted attention.
